Edinburgh Decorative & Fine Arts Society

Welcome to the Edinburgh Decorative & Fine Arts Society, known as EDFAS.  Our members enjoy a programme of 10 lectures a year on the decorative and fine arts in the widest sense, which are held at Freemasons’ Hall, 96 George Street, EH2 3DH. We have two membership groups, Afternoon and Evening, with lectures as 2.30 pm and 7.00 pm on the second Tuesday of the month from September to June.

We also run a variety of events and visits, often gaining access to houses, collections or experts not normally available to the public, as well as organising UK and overseas tours.  We also have a number of volunteering groups.

There is further information about us on the Our Society pages, where under Joining Us you will find our Membership Application form. You will find details of our Lectures and Events/Tours programmes on their pages via the links above, as well as the link to our annual Newsletters.
